Why Black Dog?

We have always been dog lovers and have adopted several rescue dogs over the years. Through a desire to help more animals, we have created The Black Dog Candle Shoppe. We decided on the name Black Dog due to the “Black Dog Syndrome”.

Black dogs are often the last dogs to be adopted and as a result tend to stay in shelters longer, and are euthanized more often than other dogs.

We are excited to offer 100% natural scented soy candles, and for every candle sold 10% of the proceeds will be donated to local animal rescues.
